Apple today unveiled "macOS High Sierra" at its Worldwide Developers Conference 2017.
Developers are being given a preview version of macOS High Sierra today and a public beta will be available this summer (in June).

The final version will be available to the general public in the fall.

Compatibility list:
  • MacBook or iMac: Late 2009 or newer
  • MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, or Mac Pro: 2010 or newer

I though "High Sierra" was a joke.    :P

macOS High Sierra are compatible to 2010 Apple machines.

They sure had to be high to come up with that name.

Under Sierra; my Nvidia GF119 Graphics gone freeze caused WindowServer on top of Metal. And now with 'HIGH' and Metal 2, I think it'll explode soon  LoL

But you either need to be in the beta program or developer program. Beta program did not work for me,

Funny thing, H.S. stands for Off-topic (Hors Sujet) or Out of order (Hors Service) in French :hysterical: !

New Mac OS sounds like Bye Sierra  :bye: ... :hysterical:  :P

Should've named it Sierra Madre!    Or Sierra Desmadre!

Ive managed to get so far in the installer but hangs. FakeSMC doesn't load so i tried forcing it in Single User but i get Locked Drive.

/sbin/mount -uw /

kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel

kextcache -system-caches

Let's hope our bootloaders can support the new Apple File System

Same here no DSMOS has arrived message and used the latest FakeSMC that worked for Sierra. Did you choose the option to upgrade the filesystem? I did and wonder if that is what is causing the issue or maybe FakeSMC is just not compatible.

@fantomas1 you not only though was a joke every single person in WWDC laugh on it .... I think Tim also though "High Sierra" was a joke

it is joke high sierra

I am currently downloading... Let's see if we keep HFS maybe 10.13 may still boot with current Clover???

IMHO is better wait the answer of our Clover devs.

Clover boots High Sierra 10.13 and you can still install it on HFS partition. The issue at hand right now is the firmware checkup that prevents installation completion.

Anyone knows if Metal 2 are compatible with Intel HD 4000?

I tried both. FakeSMC doesn't load regardless. Its either Clovers Kext Injection which isn't working with Sierra or maybe FakeSMC requires updating. I haven't got much time to test atm.
